LPN remedial Course

The NCLEX LPN Remedial course is designed to  provide students with a review of nursing concepts, and experience with critical thinking skills and test taking strategies to effectively prepare students to pass the NCLEX Examination. 

This course is for those who have one of the following;
- Failed the NCLEX Exam 3 times.
- Failure to work as a RN for 5 years. and have a lapsed license.
- Foreign Nursing wanting to be licensed in Florida

The course consists of 80 hours of classroom and lab experience and 96 hours of clinical experience.

Steps to Admissions

2.Submit programs clinical requirements

Students enrolling in this program must submit proof of having completed the following medical requirements:

1. Proof of immunization (current shot records or titers that indicate immunity)
    a. MMR (measles, mumps, Rubella)
    b. Rubeola
    c. Varicella (chicken pox)
    d. Hepatitis B
    e. Flu shot (During flu season)
    f. Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis Vaccine (Tdap)
    g. Tuberculosis (Negative PPD results. If required, chest X-ray indicating no TB)

2. Proof of malpractice insurance

3. Physical

4. Copy of letter from the Board of Nursing
